Four rising junior players from across the DMV lit up the Stars of Tomorrow Tournament held last week at the Mubadala Citi DC Open ⭐️

Milan Smith (DC), Chloe Stillwagon (MD), Knowlton Atterbeary (MD), and Mia Robles (VA) went 3-0 in group play and delivered in the final to capture the 10U Green Dot championship 💪

All four players started in JTCC’s Red Ball program and are now showing what hard work and development is all about. 🎾

Special thanks to JTCC Director of Junior Champions Mira Vlcek for accompanying the players during their experience.

Building tennis ecosystems that last 🎾✨

This July, JTCC Community Outreach Manager Evan Morsell and coaches teamed up with communities across Prince George’s County to provide fun & engaging Red Ball clinics to more than 100 students.

Coaches traveled to Glenn Allen Tennis Courts with the City of Bowie Gymnasium, Forest Heights with the Police Athletic League, and Huntington Community Center with PG Parks & Planning.

Together, we’re bringing the game to more neighborhoods, creating opportunities for kids and families to learn, play, and grow through tennis. 💪

JTCC was buzzing this month with three major film projects 🎥🎾

📍 July 15: Alumnus & world #12 Frances Tiafoe returned to film a Beats by Dre commercial.
📍 July 16: Tiafoe teamed up with 2021 US Open finalist & 2025 Mubadala Citi DC Open Champion Leylah Fernandez for a Lululemon shoot.
📍 July 17: The award-winning All Access with Andy Garcia crew battled the heat to film a documentary on JTCC’s mission & impact, featuring exclusive interviews with players and staff.

Meanwhile, Tiafoe, Hailey Baptiste & Andrew Fenty were practicing on court ahead of the Mubadala Citi DC Open where they competed last week.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making the events an incredible success as JTCC continues to prove that Tennis Is For Everybody.

Big day at the Mubadala Citi DC Open 🎾✨

Eight JTCC athletes were selected to participate in today’s USTA Foundation event, supported by @larocheposayusa.

This special experience brought together two NJTL chapters – JTCC and @wtefdc – for an unforgettable day joined by Frances Tiafoe.
